In 2004, the monograph History of Western Political Thought (First Edition) was awarded the Second Prize for Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Research at Peking University (9th Edition).
In 2005, the Second Prize for Outstanding Teachers at Peking University.
In 2007, the Second Prize for Outstanding Class Advisors at Peking University.
In 2009, the revised edition of the monograph History of Western Political Thought was recognized as a “2009 National Higher Education Excellent Textbook” by the Ministry of Education.
In 2010, he was granted the Yang Fuqing-Wang Yangyuan Academician Teaching Award at Peking University.
