Profile:
Professor Li got her bachelor's degree in World History from the Department of History at Peking University, studying Japanese history under the guidance of Professors Zhou Yiliang and Shen Ren’an. She later obtained her doctoral degree in Northeast Asian Studies at the School of International Studies, Peking University, under the supervision of Professor Li Yu. Her primary research interest is the political history of Japan, with occasional exploration into contemporary issues such as Sino-Japanese relations, though her main focus remains the intellectual history of Japanese politics.
Professor Li has taught or conducted research as a visiting scholar at several institutions in Japan, including Soka University, Waseda University, Nihon University, Niigata University, and Seikei University, for both short- and long-term programs.
She enjoys reading quietly in peaceful environments, particularly travelogues, biographies, and family histories that reflect the historical and cultural traditions of different nations and peoples.
