Speaker Bio:
Toshiro Nishizawa is a Full-Time Project Professor at the UTokyo College of Design Planning and Coordination Office under the University President’s Office. Previously, he served as a Full-Time Professor at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy (2013-2025). His distinguished career spans roles at the Export-Import Bank of Japan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation. Over the past 25 years, he has actively contributed to policy dialogue and research, specializing in development finance, Asian economies, Public-Private Partnerships, sovereign debt, and Asian geoeconomics.
