Department of International Political Economy
The Department of International Political Economy was founded in 2003. It has 4 faculty members including 1 full professor, 3 associate professors.
Curriculum and Research: Theories and methodologies of international political economy, international economic cooperation, comparative studies of regionalization, comparative political economy, china¡¯s foreign economic relations, the political economy of regionalization in Asia, the political economy of China¡¯s transition, and the political economy of international trade, transactional investment, development and transition, national competitiveness.

Institute
of World Socialism
Based on the Section of International Communist Movement
of the Department of International Politics, the Institute
of World Socialism was founded in 1994. It developed a Ph.D.
program in Scientific Socialism and International Communist
Movement together with the School of Marxism of Peking University
in 1997. The Institute has 5 faculty members including 3
full professors and 2 associate professors.Main Research Interests: politics and
socialism in Western Europe, politics and socialism in Russia
and Eastern Europe, and politics and socialism with Chinese
characteristics in China.
